Avon Old Farms Baseball Camp

The Avon Old Farms Varsity Baseball Coaches are pleased to announce the 2024 Avon Old Farms Summer Baseball Camp. The camp is designed to expand each player’s baseball skills in a fun environment. In addition to coaching baseball for a collective 50 years, each of the coaches is a teacher. Our hope is that each player will learn new techniques and skills which will result in improved play.

Camp Dates

  • Session 1: Monday, June 17 to Thursday, June 20
    • *Rain Date: June 21
  • Session 2: Monday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27
    • * Rain Date: June 28

Camp Details

  • Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $375
  • Ages: 7-17; co-ed

Baseball Program Overview

Avon Old Farms School possesses a rich tradition of enthusiasm and success in baseball. The many wins, league championships, and college players (and a few professionals) illustrate some of the accomplishments of the program.

Colonial or Founders League Championships won by the varsity team since 1996:

12 in 16 seasons (1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 2014, 2016, 2016, 2017 and 2023)

Daily Schedule

  • Morning: Learn the fundamentals of the game by doing position specific work (pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders), group hitting, base-running, etc.
  • Lunch: Players provide their own lunch with name clearly labeled.
  • Afternoon: Situations covered and games will be played designed to have fun and to reinforce the skills learned during the morning sessions.

Daily Check-In / Check-out

Players should be dropped off at the Avon Old Farms Varsity Baseball each day at 8:45 AM. Drill work will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Players should be picked up at 3:00.

Please Note: Helmets will be provided, but if you have your own helmet – we would encourage you to bring it.

Prior to Camp

Please make sure all required documents have been completed and uploaded to our registration system.  This must be done two week prior to the start of camp.  Click here to login and view your account.

Photo & Information Release Statement

Throughout the summer, the opportunity may arise for your child's picture to be taken for camp publications. It is assumed that the parent/guardian condones this practice unless a written note stating otherwise is received on or before the first day of camp. For safety reasons we do not publish or release the names or any other personal information about the children whose photos we use or who attend the camp. Your information is confidential and secure.

For the safety and welfare for all campers, Avon Old Farms Summer Camp Programs reserves the unrestricted right to dismiss any camper whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Camp Director, is detrimental to the best interests of the camp. There will be no refunds in this case.
