Support for the Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is vitally important as it provides unrestricted financial support for all costs associated with the operation of the school in a given year including classroom supplies, arts and athletic needs, scholarships, faculty salaries and benefits, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and countless others. It helps to bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating a student and what is brought in through tuition and fees – a gap of about $13,000 per boy. The more robust the Annual Fund is, the more it can enhance the quality of the educational experience of each and every Avonian.
