AOF 7 – Salisbury 5

JV lax picked up a key win against Salisbury away on Saturday. After going down 4-1 Avon rallied to tie it 4-4 going into halftime. Late in the game AOF produced much-needed goals to take and hold the lead. Goalie Peter Murphy made some key saves to keep the Winged Beavers on top when the final horn blew 7-5. Sam Levin had three goals and one assist, Matt Ruhlig had two goals and two assists, and Chase Zieky contributed two goals of his own. AOF will take on Loomis at home on Wednesday; it will be the final game of a great season.
