Visiting and Applying
Choosing a secondary school is an important decision, and a campus visit is one of the most important steps in making the right choice. Most of our students tell us that when they visited Avon Old Farms, met our students and faculty, and experienced our community spirit, they knew they'd found their school.
Avon Old Farms has established an online admissions system to help families more easily schedule visits and manage the application process. Families will create an online admissions account to:
Schedule Interviews
Schedule Shadow Visits
Submit the Application
Download Requisite Recommendation Forms
Track the Status of the Application
Avon's application deadline is January 15th and we ask that all families apply online. Recommendations forms from a current English and mathematics teacher as well as a guidance counselor or head of school must be submitted along with the application. These forms are available for download from the right of this page. In addition, an official transcript and standardized testing results from the SSAT (for students applying to grades 9 or 10), PSAT (for students applying to grades 10 or 11), and SAT or ACT (for grades 11, 12 and post-graduate candidates) must also be received by the stated deadline.
Questions regarding the financing of an Avon education should be forwarded to our Director of Financial Aid. As you make your way through the admissions process, our staff is always happy to answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to welcoming you to our campus!
