Big Things are Happening at Avon! 

Since its founding in 1927, Avon Old Farms School has remained true to its mission to educate young men. Over the years, we have become known for many things:

   a challenging program of academics, arts, and athletics
   a special sense of community fostered by our unique campus "village"
   our unwavering focus on doing what's best for boys.

On October 27, 2006, Avon Old Farms School announced The Campaign for Avon.  Today, Avon is strong in every area— from admissions to college counseling, from faculty to academic and extracurricular programs.  Building on that strength, we have great plans to ensure that Avon remains vital for generations to come.  As we move into the second phase of our Strategic Plan, we have defined three areas of pressing need:

   Creating new facilities as centers for Avon's music, athletics,
      and community life.
   Building our endowment for scholarships and faculty chairs.
   Augmenting and expanding our annual giving program.
