Event Recap: Thirds Soccer finished up with a superb effort against a fast and opportunistic Berkshire squad. Goals by Jun Whan Song (assist Nick Papadopoulos) and Nick Papadopoulos (assist Ignacio Lecocq) late in the half gave us a 2-0 edge to build on in the second half. And, despite losing our leading scorer, RJ Previdi, to an injury early in the second half, we were able to pour in five more goals during the second half. RJ Previdi scored on a great individual effort. Jack Nedorostek hit a great one-timer on a beautiful cross from Tae Hyung Kim. Jun Whan had his second of the game and Chris DeMorais had his second in two games. Finally, not to be denied, Matt Detora bulled his way through three defenders and fired the ball past the goalie for his first goal (ever), followed by his first yellow card (ever!!)….for excessive celebration.
