Rob Gryboski ’88

Rob joined Wealthspire Advisors in 2022 with three decades of experience in the capital markets industry, most recently as a Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.

After starting as a small-cap equities analyst with Grandview Partners, LLC, Rob spent 13 years at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, LLC, providing research coverage to the firm’s largest institutional clients. He has also worked at Sector & Sovereign Research, LLC, and at Buckingham Research Group, where he opened and managed the firm’s Boston office.

Rob is an Avon Old Farms School and Yale University graduate and remains involved with both institutions. He served as the Sports Editor for the Yale Daily News and is currently the Avon Old Farms National Alumni Council Chairman.

A leader in the insurance industry, Bill oversees national operations, regional field offices, the home office specialty risk underwriters, and Nationwide's surety intern and training program.

He has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College. 

Bill is member of Avon Old Farms School's National Council and is the 1983 Class Ambassador. He holds the position of 1987 Head Class Agent and Chairman of the Reunion Committee at Middlebury College. He also serves as a Bond Committee Member for the Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA).

Nick attended Avon Old Farms school, where he played hockey, football, and lacrosse. He attended Hobart and William Smith College in New York.

He has extensive experience advising individuals and institutional clients on innovative retirement plan strategies and solutions. He focuses on complex wealth management strategies to help clients with asset management, risk management, trust and estate analysis, and insurance planning.

As a Senior Portfolio Management Director in Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management Group, Vincent and the Group provide discretionary investment management on over $1.3 Billion*, employing a proprietary passive/active approach.

Vincent earned his Family Wealth Director certificate in July 2010. This prestigious designation, earned by fewer than 3% of all Morgan Stanley Advisors, enables him to bring the full scope of differentiating resources of Morgan Stanley to clients. Additionally, Vincent earned his Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Vincent has been recognized as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor (2018-2023) and was named to The Barron’s Top 1,200 Advisors List in 2023.

Vincent is an Avon Old Farms School alumnus and received his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1986 from Babson College graduate. As an enrolled agent, Robert holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University, focusing on Finance. He earned an MBA in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

After three grueling years at the United States Naval Academy, Robert completed two years of service on the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) out of Norfolk, VA. During these two years, Robert deployed to the Middle East to support Operation Inherent Resolve and returned home to fulfill his dreams in entrepreneurship.

Robert has a background in government contracting as a financial analyst wih experience in budgeting, tax and accounting services. Driven by a passion for helping veterans, Robert established The Financial Strategists, LLC, aiming to add significant value to their enterprises. His clients include small businesses, charitable organizations, real estate investors, and veterans.

Sam Rubenstein ’85

Sam started his career after graduating from the University of Richmond with an Accounting degree.  He spent 19 years in Ernst & Young’s Audit practice, rising to the level of Managing Director.  He became a subject matter expert in risks and controls, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). Sam then spent six years at General Motors in several different roles, developing and leading the SOX program at GM, including three years traveling the world as the international leader of Internal Control outside North America. Sam then became the Vice President of Financial Assurance at Caesars Entertainment, where he developed and led the SOX team, the IT audit team, and the risk-based audit approach.  After a short stint having his own consulting practice, Sam took his current role as Vice President of Internal Audit at Darigold, the Northwest Dairy Association.  Sam holds a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and a CISA (Certified Information Systems Audit).

Ben is a Defined Contribution Investment Client Advisor based in San Francisco. He is responsible for helping retirement plan consultants share retirement plan research and support the implementation of investment strategies in retirement plans. He has over 25 years of experience in the defined contribution industry and has been with J.P. Morgan since 2009. Before joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Ben was with Morgan Stanley as a Divisional Retirement Plan Director and started his career in the retirement plan industry with Nicholas | Applegate Capital Management as a Retirement Plan Consultant in 1995.

Jonathan joined Morgan Stanley in July 2007. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Jonathan worked as a financial advisor for UBS Financial Services, Inc. and PaineWebber for over ten years, earning his CFP certification in 2005. Jonathan manages a team of ten professionals with advisory oversight over $7 billion of client capital.

In addition to participating in the AOF National Council, Jon is a former member of Miss Porters School Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Investment Committee. He is a member of the Guardsmen, a San Francisco charitable organization that provides educational and camp scholarships for at-risk youth in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.

Kyle Youngquist ’97

Kyle is a Managing Director and head of Trading. He joined BDT & MSD Partners in 2005 as a Trader’s Assistant and was subsequently promoted to Junior Trader.

In 2011, Kyle was put in charge of trading the firm's energy portfolio, a role he held until he was promoted to Head of Trading in 2015. He also served as the firm’s Head of Operations from 2018-2022. Before joining BDT & MSD, he was an Assistant Vice President at Marsh & McLennan Inc. Kyle received his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
