New Year; New Lessons

At Avon Old Farms School, the new year kicked off with the third annual Intersession, a seven-day period during which students and faculty devote all of their academic attention to one course exploring a traditional academic topic in great detail, or focusing on an area outside the traditional curriculum. At the end of the program, each class makes a presentation on what they have learned.
