New Year; New Lessons At Avon Old Farms School, the new year kicked off with the third annual Intersession, a seven-day period during which students and faculty devote all of their academic attention to one course exploring a traditional academic topic in great detail, or focusing on an area outside the traditional curriculum. At the end of the program, each class makes a presentation on what they have learned.

SAVE THE DATE: 10TH ANNUAL PUSHUPS FOR PATRIOTS EVENT It's time once again to get ready for Avon's annual Pushups For Patriots event to benefit the Semper Fi Fund. This year, Major Bourgault hopes to log 1,000,000 pushups. The event will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, and will continue for 24 hours. Last year, the community completed 888,462 pushups and raised $43,000. Help us reach our goal of completing one million pushups this year!
