10TH ANNUAL PUSHUPS FOR PATRIOTS EVENT It's time once again to get ready for Avon's annual Pushups For Patriots event to benefit the Semper Fi Fund. This year, Major Bourgault hopes to log 1,000,000 pushups. The event will begin on Saturday, April 7, and will continue for 24 hours. Last year, the community completed 888,462 pushups and raised $43,000. Help us reach our goal of completing one million pushups this year! WINTER SPORTS RESULTS This winter, two teams ended the season with some great results: the swim team placed 5th overall in the Founder's League with 198 points: Connor Marshall placed second in 1-meter diving; Jake Gray placed 3rd 100-meter freestyle; and Jonathan Luo placed second in the 100-meter breaststroke. The swim team went on to place second in the NEPSAC Championship. The squash team won the Founders League, and took second place in the NEISA Class A Championships.
