Good afternoon,

I have exciting news to share—our latest round of test results came back 100% negative again. Our community has done an excellent job adhering to our guidelines, and I'm happy to begin conservatively lifting some of our current restrictions. More information will be shared in our Parent Rundown tomorrow so please be sure to keep an eye out for that email. I will be meeting with students tomorrow to share the good news, highlight new activities for the weekend, and announce the following:

  • Visiting Campus
Parents/caregivers are welcome to visit campus on Saturday and Sunday from noon–4 p.m. The Refectory will be open. Please feel free to bring food and enjoy the outdoor areas of campus with all COVID-19 protocols in place. Dorms remain closed to outside residents.

  • Short-Term Campus Leaves
This weekend, students are allowed to travel home on either Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. however overnight leaves are still restricted. Parents/caregivers who are planning a trip to AOF can also take their son(s) off-campus for supplies or enjoy a take out meal. We continue to ask that you refrain from indoor dining. More information about our expectations regarding student leaves is listed on our website.

If you are planning a visit or your son(s) will be leaving campus, parents/caregivers must email Anne Townsend by 4 p.m. on Friday to inform the school of their plans.

As a reminder, please do not come to campus if you've been traveling, are not feeling well, or have been around anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19. Your partnership is critical to our ongoing success and we appreciate your diligence to reduce risk to our community.

Aspirando et perseverando,
