Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As we approach March break and the one-year milestone of COVID-19 in our lives, I am humbled by the strength and resilience of our community. Collectively, we created one of the most ambitious plans among our peers to bring our students back to campus full time for in-person learning this year and offered a robust learning program in a safe environment. Without our dedicated faculty, staff, and a strong partnership with our parents, this academic year would not have been the success it is today.
While this year has presented some challenges, the current trend is encouraging for a relatively normal return in the fall. I am hopeful to offer students the Avon experience that enticed them to join our Brotherhood in the first place, and we look forward to receiving your renewal contracts for the upcoming school year. Mrs. Riddle created an indestructible school for boys and, this year especially, we have aspired and persevered under extreme circumstances. What better lesson to teach our students than to rise in the face of life's challenges.
Today, March 1, is an important re-enrollment deadline on our calendar so the Admissions Office can assess open spots for the next school year. If you plan to renew your contract, I kindly ask that you complete your contract as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Patrick Miller or Chris Webb.
I am excited to see the energy shift on campus as the bright, spring weather arrives. I know the boys all need this March break to re-energize and tackle the final few months of the school year. Rest up, enjoy the time together, and I will see you back on campus starting March 26th.
