PARENTS OF AVON Parent of Avon Meeting Re-cap Thank you to those who were able to make our first POA meeting on Wednesday evening! We had a great turnout and it was wonderful to have our parents gathering in person again to re-connect and to meet new families. COLLEGE COUNSELING Class of 2022 Counselors will meet with students over the coming weeks to discuss their admission plans and any changes to their college lists. College Rep visits to campus are being added to the calendar in SCOIR.
Seniors should also be thinking about standardized tests, and should understand how COVID-19 has disrupted the traditional college application cycle as it relates to testing. Read More Class of 2023 Juniors will be assigned a college counselor in December, and individual meetings will begin in January.
Many students want the option to take standardized tests. We have already registered all 11th graders to take the PSAT on Wed., October 13. We also recommend that 11th graders take the test in December. Read More
