On behalf of the Parents of Avon Board, thank you to our community of parents and caregivers for making Family Weekend such a great success. We started the weekend on Thursday night with the pre-family weekend parent gathering at the beautiful Rockledge Grille with a wonderful turnout. Many wonderful connections were continued at the reception for families under the Village Green tent on Friday afternoon. We ended the weekend with a strong showing at the POA concessions tent while fans cheered on varsity football as they defeated Taft. Thank you to our parents who graciously donated drinks, snacks, hotdogs and homemade chili. A special thanks to Head of School Jim Detora, Susan Kohn, Jessica Egan, Hector Vazquez, all the AOF faculty and staff who so graciously welcomed parents to campus. The entire Parents of Avon Board thanks you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at our next POA meeting on November 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Warm Regards,
