Thank you to all of the junior and senior families that participated in the College Counseling sessions this week. We hope that the information and guidance concerning deposit deadlines, college selections, and transition was helpful for our senior families. In addition, the information concerning the virtual college visits, the common application, standardized testing, teacher recommendations, and recruiting was insightful for our junior parents as they begin the process. The messaging provided clarity in these uncertain times.
As we approach the end of the fourth quarter, it is important to continue with personal communications from our academic and student life teams. This week we have scheduled Zoom sessions for parents in order to communicate thoughts on leadership opportunities, grading, course selections for next year, retrieval of your son’s personal items from campus and the project period. Jim Detora will deliver opening remarks and Rob Whitty will discuss updates in a few areas, prior to the Dean’s conversation. These sessions will also provide an opportunity for parents to provide feedback and ask questions about the overall program. Please sign up on the form and include any questions that you may have for the team. You will receive an email with the link to the Zoom meeting on the date of the session.
