Course Selection Process for the 2018 - 2019 School Year
The course selection process for next year has just started. The academic deans, college office, and department chairs have met with students by grade level to provide information about possible course selections and direction regarding this process and the associated timelines. At this point in the process, students should be having conversations with their current teachers, advisor, and Mr. Callaghan and/or me. We have emphasized the importance of the students' involvement in the process as they consider their academic track to decide on the most appropriately challenging academic schedule.
During the next 2-3 weeks, your son should be having these conversations with his teachers, advisor, academic deans and you. We would like to have your son's academic schedule finalized in early spring. If you have any immediate questions or immediate concerns please contact me at your earliest convenience. If you would like to discuss your son's final schedule, please let the process continue and we can discuss after the March break.
