Visiting Campus and Short-Term Leaves

The weekend of February 20–21 parents/caregivers are welcome to visit campus on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. The Refectory will be open. Please feel free to bring food and enjoy the outdoor areas of campus with all COVID protocols in place. All other indoor spaces, including the dormitories will be closed. If you plan to visit campus during the above times or take your son off campus, please register with Anne Townsend at townsenda@avonoldfarms.com by 4 p.m. on Friday. As a reminder, please do not come to campus if you've been traveling, are not feeling well, or have been around anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19. Masks and social distancing are required while on campus.

Boarding students will be allowed to travel home or off campus with their parents/guardians on either Saturday, February 20, or Sunday, February 21, from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Students are not allowed to spend the night at home and must return to campus by 6 p.m. It is imperative that sons only travel to their primary residence, follow all COVID protocols and only have limited contact with immediate family members. If parents are traveling from a distance, please feel free to take your son off campus for supplies or take out food. Students must avoid contact with friends, relatives (not in the immediate family), and avoid any high risk activity and/or indoor dining. Parents/caregivers must contact Anne Townsend at townsenda@avonoldfarms.com by 4 p.m. on Friday to inform the school if the student will be off campus. Students must check out with the Administrator on Duty.
