College Counseling Announcement: October 2, 2019

New This Year:

Scoir - College Counseling will be introducing Scoir, a new service that can be used by parents and students to plan for college. We will be running Scoir parallel with Naviance throughout the 2019-2020 school year. Parents and students in the Class of 2020 will have the opportunity to explore this new platform and its capabilities. Scoir will replace Naviance for the Class of 2021.

Class of 2020

College Counseling Conferences will be offered to parents of students in the Class of 2020 during Family Weekend. Please contact Claudine Meaney at meaneyc@avonoldfarms.com for counselor availability and to schedule an appointment. Preference will be given to families coming from a distance.

  • Please see the College Visits Calendar located on the College Counseling page of the AOF website for a listing of college representatives visiting campus. The rules for attending a college visit are as follows:

    • Seniors and PGs may miss class but not a quiz, test, or lab.

    • Please notify your college counselor of your intention to attend so we can communicate with the representative.

  • Counselors will be meeting with students over the coming weeks to discuss summer visits and any changes to their college lists.
