John C. Traynor has again traveled to Avon Old Farms School and created a spectacular oil painting, especially for the Blue Blazer. This exquisite, framed original work will be a treasured acquisition for the winning bidder.
The canvas is 34” x 40” showcasing all the characteristics of “a classic Traynor painting.” This year’s original work features a snowy, winter scene of Theodate’s magnificent Cotswold architecture. Traynor is an internationally acclaimed contemporary artist who has received more than 200 awards of merit for his work. His paintings reflect the influence of old master painters and French impressionist artists. A master of the landscape, still life, and portraiture, his use of color, distinctive brush strokes, and depiction of light are renowned.

On this special occasion, your evening begins at the Head of School’s residence where you will don period-appropriate festive finery and enjoy a private cocktail party with the other members of this noble group.
You will then process to the Riddle Refectory and into the Great Hall and seated at the Head Table, you will enjoy a great feast while being royally entertained by senior thespians.
