Spring 2021

As we approach Quarter 4, we would like to provide as many details as possible concerning athletics, repopulation and the fourth quarter calendar.

We have continued to conservatively review our campus restrictions based on the overall health and safety of the entire community. We have continued to allow students to travel dorm to dorm, expanded food delivery times, increased the hours/menu of the Hawk’s Nest, traveled off campus to local shopping areas, and provided a competitive athletic program.

We will continue to reevaluate campus restrictions based on testing, prevalence, and students making the right choices in regards to COVID-19 protocols.

Looking Ahead

COVID Vaccine Information

We are still unsure at this time whether or not students will have the opportunity to receive a COVID vaccine through the school prior to the end of the school year.  There are many logistics, procedures and technicalities that are still up in the air regarding students getting vaccinated.  We will support our local families who want to facilitate their son getting a vaccine, but the school can not commit to this endeavor at this time.  We will be sure to communicate any plans regarding COVID vaccines for students if and when the school is able to play a role in making this happen.

Planning Your Son's Return to Campus

Emergency Contacts Reminder

All students are required to have an emergency contact that lives within 300 miles (five hours) driving distance from the school and who agrees to pick up and assume care for the student if guardians are unavailable or can not do so within eight hours of notification.

Students may need to be picked up because they are required to isolate due to testing positive for COVID-19, the flu, or another communicable disease because they are considered a close contact of a positive COVID-19 person and are required to quarantine, if school shuts down, or for other medical or mental health issues.

Please log into Magnus and make sure that your son’s emergency contact is up to date and is still able and willing to pick up and assume care of your son if you are unable to do so.
