Men,

It is crazy to think that we are in this situation and that we will not be seeing you on campus for the remainder of the year. I remember how I felt going into my senior spring in the Village of Old Farms and there was a great amount of excitement. I want to give you just a few words of advice as we head into this time of uncertainty.

First, the bonds you formed at Avon will always be there. No matter how well you got to know someone on campus. Whether you are best friends or sat with someone once at a meal, you are all part of an incredible brotherhood that is worldwide. The brothers you made here will be the groomsmen at your wedding and some of the most reliable people you will have in your life.

Second, do not be a stranger. No matter where you find yourself in the next journey of life, do not forget this place. This school is a special place unlike any other and you will soon realize, this is home to so many great memories.

This brings me to my last thought and it was something Mr. LaRocque shared with us the night before graduation in 2014. No matter what happens in life, no matter what path you go down, no matter what storm comes in your way, the Village of Old Farms will always be there to welcome you home.

I had the distinct pleasure to get to know most of you in my first year back and you all have made this a memorable year for me. You always will be the Class of 2020 and no one can take that from you.

Aspirando et Perseverando
