Born and raised in South Hadley, Massachusetts, I spent four years at Avon Old Farms building relationships with teachers and classmates that still thrive today. While at Avon, I ran cross country and track, played hockey, and served as a dorm monitor in Jennings and Elephant. I was honored with the Order of Old Farms upon graduation. I then studied political science and Spanish at Gettysburg College. I’ve taught high school, coached girls cross country and track, and refereed ice hockey. I’m dual-certified in special education and history, which has allowed me to work with students of diverse learning needs. What experience led you to Avon Old Farms School? Working in education has shown me how critical the high school years are in shaping young people. My background in teaching, coaching, and officiating has allowed me to see students grow both in the classroom and on the athletic fields. I look forward to continuing that work at Avon, where athletics and academics work hand in hand to build character and community. Why do you work at Avon Old Farms School?
