Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Committee strives to help as many families as possible: please note and adhere to our application deadlines to maximize your consideration for aid.

Financial aid at Avon Old Farms is determined by a family's ability to meet educational expenses. Any questions concerning qualifications for financial aid may be addressed to Director of Financial Aid Rebecca Winsor.

Please request financial aid per protocol from the Admission Office upon application submission/interview. The Financial Aid Committee is unable to consider requests for financial assistance after admission decisions are made.

All financial information submitted in support of a financial aid application is held in strict confidence. All financial aid awards are confidential agreements between the recipient family and Avon Old Farms School. Therefore, it is the expectation that students receiving financial aid, and their families, will honor this confidentiality. A student may forfeit his award if this confidentiality is breached.

Fee waivers are granted on a basis of demonstrated need. To request a waiver for the SAO please complete this form. In order to be considered for a fee waiver the inquiry form must be completed as well.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit.

Financial Aid Award Renewal

Financial aid is reviewed annually, and we ask that families reapply for aid each year. Please note, grant amounts may vary, depending on changes in parents' financial situation. It is the responsibility of the financial aid recipient to maintain appropriate grades, effort, and conduct.

If you are a current family applying for financial aid for the first time, please contact Rebecca Winsor to review eligibility. Only families with significant and unpreventable financial change will be eligible to apply.

The deadline for financial aid renewal is November 30.
