Day Parents Announcements
Please Consider Hosting Our Boarding Students |
---|
Hosting Boarding Students We encourage day students to host boarding students at their homes, whether for a day visit or overnight. This will help build strong relationships and offer the boarders a much-appreciated home away from home. Day students may not drive boarding students to or from campus. Boarders will need to request the leave in SchoolSuite, and a host parent will need to approve via the email sent by SchoolSuite. Hosting International Students Over Vacations Oftentimes, we have a handful of International students who are unable to go home during vacations. Please email me if your family would be interested in being on a list to contact if a host family is needed for part or all of a vacation. Our family has hosted international students for the past 4 years, and it's been a wonderful experience. |
Driver's Education |
The Driving Whisperer in Avon has designed a flexible driver's ed program that fits into the unique schedule of our students. Please contact them for more information. |
CCD |
Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Often, we find some boarders who would like to do CCD. If your son is in a program and you are interested in including and transporting a couple of boarding students, please let us know. |
How To Get Involved |
The Parents of Avon, our parent association, is a great way to connect with other families and build your Avon network. Please email for more information. Please contact Barbara Kaylor via email for the parent roster if you would like to reach out to parents on your son's sports team to promote social gatherings and game celebrations. |
