Welcome, Class of 2023 parents! Here you can find helpful information concerning your senior's final months as an AOF student. As the weeks progress, this website will be updated with the important senior announcements and the most current information regarding Commencement Weekend festivities.

Commencement invitations were sent home with your sons for March break. If you haven't received your package, please check with your son. A digital PDF of the invitation is available to use as you please. An invitation is not needed to attend the Awards Ceremony or Commencement.

Commencement Weekend Schedule

Schedule of Events

Saturday, May 27
8:45 a.m.	Morning Meeting & Commencement rehearsal for all students.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.	Pakmail for all Students at Dio Circle
2 p.m.	Concert in Brown Auditorium (livestreamed here)
4 p.m.	Senior Awards Ceremony in Field House (livestreamed here). All senior parents are welcome to attend. *Seniors are free to leave after the conclusion of awards. All seniors must stay off-campus on Saturday evening and return the following morning at 9 a.m.
Sunday, May 28
8:45 a.m.	Seniors pick up graduation gowns outside the entrance to the Brown Auditorium.
9 a.m.	All seniors must be on campus, dressed in Vespers for commencement. Please be punctual.
9:30 a.m.	Legacy Photo at the Vista: Any senior and their parent who are legacies.
10 a.m.	Commencement Exercises on the Village Green* (livestreamed here) Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony in the Refectory. Seniors return gowns to Dean's Lounge after the ceremony. *Please note: In the event of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the Field House. It is not necessary to have an invitation to attend the ceremony.

Commencement Photography Information

Event Photography

The Avon Old Farms photography team will take photos of the awards ceremony, concert, and Commencement. Photos will be available on our photo gallery shortly after Commencement Weekend.

Individual Photography

Photographer George Chambers will take several photos of each boy receiving his diploma. There is no need to preorder. Families will receive photo proofs approximately 8-10 days after the ceremony.

You can purchase a yearbook ad for your son for the following prices:

$380 for a full-page ad
$190 for a half-page ad
$90 for a quarter-page ad
$60 for an eighth-page

The deadline to reserve an ad is February 15, 2023. (first come first serve for space!)

We are excited to share that yearbook portraits are now available online for viewing and purchase. We have two galleries: one for seniors and one for underclassmen. To begin, visit PictureDay.com and enter your appropriate gallery code following the below formula:

SENIORS: 449932 + First 3 Letters of First Name + First 3 Letter of Last Name

Seniors must choose which image from the online gallery goes in the yearbook and have until December 2nd to choose a pose.

Anyone having issues with the image galleries should contact customer service at irvinsimon.com/customercare.

Retakes

Retakes and for those missing the day of photos is scheduled for Friday, Oct 21, from 8 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
