A Heritage of Fine Art
Our founder, Theodate Pope Riddle, knew the transformative power of art: her impressive personal collection at the Hill-Stead Museum includes paintings by Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet, James M. Whistler, and Mary Cassatt, as well as numerous works on paper and Japanese woodblock prints, sculpture, and more.
