Welcome to the Avon Old Farms squash program – a legacy of excellence and a passion for the sport that transcends generations. Under the guidance of esteemed coaches, the Avon Old Farms squash program develops the necessary skills to make squash a sport to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
The heart of our program lies in the Gaynor Squash Pavilion, a facility equipped with six international singles courts and a three-wall glass exhibition court. It's the perfect setting for top-tier tournaments and world-class training.
With over 40 players across varsity, JV, and thirds teams, the Avon Old Farms squash program welcomes all aspiring players. In 2013-14, Avon Old Farms School achieved its first-ever US Squash High School National Team Championship. That same year, the team managed to secure its first-ever Founders League title, while earning its highest finish at the NEISA New England Championships. The program has developed strong players who have gone on to some of the nation’s best colleges and universities.
As a member of the Founders League and the New England Prep School League, our schedule includes intense competitions against schools like Choate, Kent, Deerfield, and others. We play over 20 matches per season, and our top players also engage in individual US SQUASH junior tournaments.
From hosting the New England Team Tournament championship to participating in the High School Team Nationals championships, our program offers signature components that enhance the overall experience. During the offseason, players take advantage of rare opportunities for private lessons and clinics with squash professionals.
