Guiding Players to Excellence – On and Off the Court
|
Welcome to the Avon Old Farms School tennis program, where we strive to prepare student athletes for a lifelong journey in tennis.
Whether aiming for collegiate competition or fostering a passion for the sport, our goal is to guide players to excellence both on and off the court.
Competing in the prestigious Founders League against schools like Taft, Choate, Westminster, and Loomis Chaffee, our athletes face tough competition, honing their skills for the next level. With a season of 16-18 matches plus scrimmages, players experience a robust schedule that challenges and refines their game.
Our state-of-the-art Globe Tennis Complex boasts nine post-tension concrete courts, providing a stunning backdrop for matches. In the off-season, we utilize three nearby indoor clubs, ensuring year-round training opportunities.
Our program caters to various skill levels with three teams: varsity, junior varsity, and thirds. From newcomers to Division 1 caliber players, everyone gets a chance to develop their skills in an environment tailored to their abilities.
Winged Beavers alumni have soared to colleges such as Bates, St. Lawrence, Quinnipiac, and NYU. Our program's signature component is the preseason camp, a blend of tryouts and clinics featuring top-level coaches with collegiate and international experience.
Join us as we embark on a journey to shape not just athletes, but lifelong enthusiasts of the game. |
