Standardized Testing
October 23: PSAT/NMSQT
All sophomores and juniors have been registered to take this digital test during the school day.
We recommend that 11th graders take the SAT and the ACT in December. 11th-grade students should plan to take the SAT on December 7th and the ACT on December 14th to learn which test platform reflects their abilities better and to establish a testing baseline. Please see the instructions on how to register for each test here. This information will be important to help us develop a testing plan for each student when the outlines of the next admission cycle become clearer and we begin individual conferences in January.
SAT and ACT Test Preparation
There is still time to register for either the SAT or ACT preparation course offered on campus in partnership with Summit Educational Group. Some of these classes overlap, so we ask that you choose either SAT or ACT for this session. Additional sessions will be available throughout the year.

SAT Test Prep
- The SAT is now digital. The move to digital will result in a shorter test (2 hours instead of 3 hours) and faster delivery of results. For tips and tricks on preparing for the Digital SAT, please check out this quick and helpful guide from the College Board.
- We encourage students looking for more resources to prepare for the Digital SAT to use Khan Academy's Official Digital SAT Prep for skill practice and College Board's Bluebook app for full-length practice tests.
ACT Test Prep - The Official ACT Self-Paced Course
- Take official ACT practice tests in all four subject areas
- Know exactly what you missed and what you didn't with a score report
- Access related resources to improve your skills based on what you missed
- Retake the test as many times as you want
