The 2025 AOF football season was a historic one, as we capped a 10-0 season by winning the Drew Gamere Bowl in front of our home crowd capturing our first Class A NEPSAC Championship!

As one of the top football prep schools in the nation, our coaches are committed to preparing athletes for success both on and off the field.
With a rich history that includes multiple Founders League championships, NEPSAC Bowl appearances, and undefeated regular seasons, our football program stands as a testament to the dedication and skill of our players and coaches.
At Avon Old Farms, we believe in a holistic approach to player development. Our mission is to empower each member of the program to become the best version of themselves. Avon Old Farms School fields football teams at the varsity, junior varsity, and thirds level, offering unified programs focused on individual development. We compete in the challenging Founders League and engage in thrilling rivalry games against Brunswick and Salisbury. In the summer of 2022, Avon Old Farms installed a brand new turf field but kept the same name—Ryan Field.

We work closely with our college counseling office to ensure that our players have the opportunity to pursue placement at top colleges and universities.
