Welcome to the Avon Old Farms School track and field program, where a rich history of success is woven into the fabric of our athletic tradition.
At Avon, our track program stands as a testament to the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and dedication to others, fostering a supportive team culture that has become the hallmark of our community.
Throughout the years, our commitment to these core values has propelled us to multiple accolades, including Founders League Championships, New England Championships, and qualifications for the prestigious New Balance National Championship. Our team roster, boasting 40 to 50 student-athletes, is one of the largest on campus, catering to individuals of all ability levels.
The Avon track and field program accommodates a diverse group of athletes, ranging from novice beginners to crossover student-athletes from football, soccer, basketball, and hockey. We are proud to support those aspiring to pursue track and field at the NCAA level. As our student-athletes embark on each season, they set both team and individual goals, and our experienced coaches craft tailored training programs to help them achieve these milestones.
We firmly believe in the principles of teamwork, personal accountability, and hard work as the driving forces behind personal improvement. These values not only shape our athletes on the track but also prepare them for success in life beyond Avon.
