We Invest in the People Who Shape Avon.

At Avon Old Farms, faculty members are far more than teachers. They are mentors, coaches, advisors, and role models, all deeply woven into the fabric of daily life.

Seventy percent of Avon faculty live on campus, where relationships are formed through shared meals, conversations, and life in the dorms.

A shortage of faculty housing limits our ability to extend this defining aspect of the Avon experience. Avon also currently hires faculty without the expectation of this benefit, which is often a given on a boarding school campus. Our housing shortage puts Avon at a disadvantage compared to peers.

The Centennial Campaign will support the construction of six new faculty homes, strengthening the residential community and providing one of Avon’s most effective tools for attracting and retaining exceptional educators, particularly those who specialize in teaching adolescent boys.

We invest in faculty to ensure Avon remains a place where relationships flourish and boys thrive.
